Last Sunday night was packed with celebrities, stellar performances, and, more importantly, great style.  Many stars at the Grammys stood out in designer couture.  Taylor Swift, in typical Taylor Swift Fashion, wore a metallic, sparkly Gucci gown.  She looked gorgeous as usual, and I think it was one of her better outfits. Madonna also turned heads, but in a different type of way.  She wore a Ralph Lauren trench coat, trousers, and a flat-brimmed hat. Definitely not your typical award show attire.  Anna Kendrick turned heads in a low cut gown by Azzaro. It was gorgeous, but maybe a little too mature for someone her age. This was one of my favorite dresses, but I just don’t think it was the right one for her.  Sunday was Kacey Musgraves’ big night.  She was nominated for multiple awards, and she definitely chose the right dress for a night with all eyes on her. She wore a blush-colored tiered dress by Armani Prive.  It was a little big at the bottom, but she pulled it off.  P!nk’s style is normally very edgy, but she took a more feminine approach in a form-fitting gown by Johanna Johnson. The best thing about this dress was the color, a gorgeous scarlet red; however, I think it could have used more accessories; the neckline was very plain and boring.  Although P!nk looked great, another young star caught everyone’s attention that night.  Seventeen-year-old Lorde stepped out in dark makeup and a black sheer gown.  The darkness of this outfit caused a lot of controversy considering Lorde’s young age. Overall, the Grammys were a great night in L.A. So many stars brought out their best attire to show off to the world.  Some weren’t so great, but they all gave their best and wore their outfits with pride.  All we can do is anxiously wait for them to blow us away next year.
