Jewish Culture Club Flower Sale

Almost three weeks ago, a horrific shooting took the lives of eleven people at a synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Jewish Culture Club, run by Megan Schweiker, decided that they were going to run a flower sale to help the synagogue. “We wanted to do something different than a bake sale, so we decided to do flowers” Schweiker said. Roses are $5 and carnations are $1 and can be purchased Tuesday or Wednesday in the Field House Commons. The person who sends the flower can give it to anyone in community, anonymously or not. The sale will help the people affected by the shooting.
