Girls Tennis Three-peats with FSL Championship Win by Shelby Deibler

In an exhilarating match that took nearly three hours, the Girls Tennis team captured the Friends School League Championship for Moorestown Friends in a 5-0 win over Germantown Friends School on October 30. 

This is the seventh Friends School League Championship win and third consecutive win for the Foxes (1988 to 2019). 

“It’s so exciting to be a part of a team that is so competitive and also works well together,” said Natalie Julian ’21.

Captain Elena Stylides ’20 added, “It feels great to win the Friends League three years in a row. I’m so proud of my team for pushing through and fighting until the end. We all fought so hard and we deserved it! I’m sad that the season is over, but I hope the girls keep on playing their hardest in the coming years!”

They finished a historic season with a record of 23-1.

Renna Mohsen-Breen ’20 (6-0, 6-1), Bella Pescatore ’22 (6-1, 6-4), Lisa Seiler ’21 (6-4, 6-1), Elena Styliades ’20 /Skye Mada ’22 (6-4, 6-1), and Natalie Julian ’22/Roma Jha ’22 (2-6, 6-4, 10-3).
