Streaming on HBO, The White Lotus is a satirical drama that has taken the internet by storm. The first season of the series follows an eclectic group of wealthy guests’ visit to a lavish Hawaiin resort, and the second season takes place on the beautiful island of Sicily. In the spirit of extravagant wealth and luxurious travel, here is a taste of MFS student and teachers’ dream White Lotus vacations:

“My dream White Lotus vacation would be a fancy penthouse in Paris. The only way I could survive the drama is with a chocolate croissant in my hand.” Maya DeAndrea ’25.

“Besides not getting brutally murdered, I would say I would want to stay at a White Lotus in Bali, but I would want to hangout with Quentin … if he wasn’t hired to kill me.” Alissa Fox ’23.

“My White Lotus endeavors would definitely have to be at a really high-end ski resort in the middle of nowhere.” Ava Savino ’23.

“I’d probably go to Maldives for four days at the beginning of spring break with four of my closest friends. Since it’s on a beach, we’d go paragliding and chill at the beach most of the day. We’d take some bike rides around the island.” Jaylen Patel ’23.

“One where I don’t die … it may be an unusual answer, but I think it captures something I enjoy about the show which is that I’m always watching with a sort of amused horror for the story is telling and the cluelessness of some of the characters. Despite this, I think things like, ‘I want to go there!’ ‘Wow, look at the beach!’ ‘Oh, look at that town!’” Daniel Sussman, English teacher.

“I would go to the Bahamas … or Aruba … or some fancy tropical island in the middle of the ocean. I don’t care where it is, as long as I can have piña coladas, I’m happy. ” Sophia Lalani ’25.

“I would go to an all-inclusive island where there are those fancy over-the-water cabins. But I don’t like those types of shows so I wouldn’t go.” Katie LuBrant, math teacher.
